Part of the Pantherella Classic collection, the Samarkand Cotton/Linen blend socks are expertly crafted to Pantherellas signature high standards to give you premium men’s socks that are a durable and reliable addition to your collection.
These socks are premium from the yarn through to Pantherella's unrivalled hand-finished quality. The Samarkand men's socks are made from a cotton/linen blend, providing cool lightweight comfort all year round while being highly durable and resistant to pilling.
The Egyptian Cotton Pantherella useshas a count of 2/38 NE– this number translates as the thickness and weight of the yarn and are knitted on a 176 needle, fine-gauge machine.
These socks are knitted from an innovative cotton linen blend which combines ‘zero’ spun cotton, with natural ecru linen. Zero’ spun cotton is a rounded, clean yarn which uses technical advances in spinning to eliminate every trace of bobbling in the fibre resulting in longer wear and superior comfort. Linen is laborious to manufacture, but the fibre is very absorbent and garments made of linen are valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot weather.
When combined, these yarns give a unique two-colour mouline effect which is knitted into the perfect leisure socks for the warmer Spring/Summer months.

We will gladly exchange or issue store credit for any unworn regular price shoes or leather accessories purchased from us within 14 days of purchase date. We do not offer refunds and store credits do not expire. Shoes and leather accessories must be in the same condition with no signs of try-on or wear to allow for re-stocking. Re-stocking fees may apply for special order items. We do not accept returns or exchanges on socks or shoe care products. Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. All in-stock Alden Catalog special orders must be paid in full at the time of order. For back order Alden Catalog styles, we require a 50% deposit at the time of order. No cancellations on Alden Catalog special orders.All Last Call and sale items are considered final sale. No exceptions.If there are any issues with your Alden footwear, please reach out to us immediately. Your order will still be subject to the regular timeframe for returns (14 days of purchase date).
